Volleyball Recap: North Branch's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

After losing to Rocori the last time they met, North Branch decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0 on Friday.

While North Branch won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Rocori saw an underclassman step up: freshman Eliett Satterstrom had three digs and one block.

North Branch's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Rocori, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

North Branch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Peter on the 13th. As for Rocori, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Benilde-St. Margaret's on the 13th.
