Softball Recap: Artesia Bulldogs vs. Portales Rams
Artesia can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They never let the Portales Rams onto the board and left with a 12-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Artesia sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Not much got past Kayden Apodaca, who gave up just one hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Portales off the board.
At the plate, Artesia got a massive performance out of McKenna Morrison, who scored three runs while going 4-for-4. Mikenzi Carlo was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.
Artesia has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Portales, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.
As of now, neither Artesia nor Portales have any future games scheduled.
