Basketball Game Preview: Randolph-Clay Red Devils vs. Schley County Wildcats + How To Watch

The Randolph-Clay Red Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Schley County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Randolph-Clay had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 20-point drubbing they dealt Pataula Charter Academy on Tuesday. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 60-40 margin over the Panthers. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Schley County). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Marion County on Tuesday, sneaking past 69-67. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since January 18th.

Schley County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Randolph-Clay, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Everything went Randolph-Clay's way against Schley County in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Randolph-Clay made off with a 66-41 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
