Volleyball Game Preview: Pensacola Area Homeschool Phoenix vs. Rocky Bayou Christian Knights

The Pensacola Area Homeschool Phoenix are taking a road trip to take on the Rocky Bayou Christian Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pensacola Area Homeschool has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 7.

On Thursday, Pensacola Area Homeschool came up short against Full Life Christian Academy and fell 2-0.

While Pensacola Area Homeschool was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Rocky Bayou Christian made easy work of L.E.A.D. Academy on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Rocky Bayou Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 25-14.

Pensacola Area Homeschool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-11.

Pensacola Area Homeschool might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Rocky Bayou Christian when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Phoenix avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
