Coosa lost to Trion last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Coosa took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13.

Coosa's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Trion, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Coosa and Pepperell will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Trion, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Model at 5:00 p.m. This will also be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
