It was a proper cat-fight when St. Martinville duked it out with Erath on Friday. The St. Martinville Tigers took their contest with ease, bagging a 53-14 victory over the Erath Bobcats. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

St. Martinville pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points over those games. As for Erath, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Martinville will head out to take on Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Erath, they will venture away from home to square off against Vermilion Catholic on Wednesday.
