Recap: GEO Next Generation Tigers vs. Baker Buffaloes
The GEO Next Generation Tigers's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They escaped with a win against Baker by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42. The win was just what GEO Next Generation needed coming off of a 64-40 loss in their prior match.
Leading GEO Next Generation to victory were Kimberly Jack and Quinniece Darby. Jack scored 11 points, while Darby scored 14 points.
GEO Next Generation's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Baker, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
GEO Next Generation will head out on the road to face off against Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Baker, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ascension Christian at 6:00 p.m.
