If Water Canyon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Milford, they should've done a better job of containing Jaidyn McMullin. The Tigers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from McMullin, who had 12 digs and nine kills. McMullin is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

The win didn't come easy: Water Canyon scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 22-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Milford picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Water Canyon, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Milford is set to take on their familiar foe Panguitch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Water Canyon will face off against rival Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
