Soccer Game Preview: Fort Vancouver vs. King's Way Christian

The Fort Vancouver Trappers will head out to challenge the King's Way Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fort Vancouver is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Seton Catholic on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Fort Vancouver can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Seton Catholic are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, King's Way Christian made sure to put some goals up on the board against Onalaska on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Loggers. The result was nothing new for King's Way Christian, who have now won eight matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Fort Vancouver's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for King's Way Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-2-2.

Fort Vancouver came up short against King's Way Christian when the teams last played back in April, falling 2-0. Can the Trappers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
