St. Joseph Central is a perfect 3-0 against East since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Flyers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tartans at 5:00 p.m. The last three games St. Joseph Central has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

St. Joseph Central took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Clay, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Flyers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Panthers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Flyers have posted since May 8, 2024.

Evan Aldridge spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, St. Joseph Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wesley Neal, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, East fell victim to Clay and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Tartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for East, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
