Baseball Recap: Danbury Lakers vs. Northwood Rangers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvert, Danbury was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Northwood Rangers a 10-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lakers considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Dylan Kenley was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Danny Carroll, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
