Football Game Preview: Stewartsville/Osborn vs. Orrick

On Friday Stewartsville/Osborn take on Orrick at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.

Stewartsville/Osborn suffered a grim 32-54 defeat to Rock Port last week. Stewartsville/Osborn got a solid performance out of senior Cole Bryant, who rushed for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. In fact, with 14 tackles Bryant was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, everything went Orrick's way against Norborne/Hardin-Central two weeks ago as they made off with a 54-30 win. With Orrick ahead 38-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Orrick's win lifted them to 2-0 while Stewartsville/Osborn's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Orrick can add another positive mark to their record or if Stewartsville/Osborn can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Orrick's step.
