Hazel Green had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grissom Tigers, sneaking past 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hazel Green's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Grissom, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4.

Coincidentally, Hazel Green and Grissom will both be playing Hueytown the next time they take the field. Hazel Green will head out to face Hueytown at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Grissom will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
