Soccer Game Preview: Windsor vs. Fredericktown

The Windsor Owls will take on the Fredericktown Black Cats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Windsor fell victim to Festus and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Fredericktown also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Poplar Bluff on Monday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Fredericktown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while Poplar Bluff are ranked 66th).

Fredericktown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4-1.

Windsor got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 against Fredericktown by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Owls have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Black Cats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
