Soccer Recap: Fowlerville Comes Up Short

If Fowlerville was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Byron on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gladiators came up short against the Holt Rams on Tuesday, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fowlerville of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Fowlerville has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Holt, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fowlerville will challenge rival Eastern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holt is set to take on their familiar foe East Lansing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
