Ray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell victim to a tough 17-8 loss at the hands of the Pima Roughriders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ray of the 10-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.
Makayla Barajas and Cambria Garcia stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ray will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ganado at 10:00 a.m. Ray will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Pima, they will head out on the road to challenge Willcox at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Willcox is coming into the contest with three straight wins at home, so Pima will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
