Basketball Recap: Hilbert Takes a Loss

Hilbert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs 85-49. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 81-65 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Hilbert's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for St. Mary Catholic, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hilbert will take on Reedsville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Reedsville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Hilbert likes a good challenge. As for St. Mary Catholic, they will challenge Manitowoc Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
