 On Friday, the Nipmuc Regional Warriors had just enough and edged the Framingham Flyers out  3-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Nipmuc Regional.
  Josh Giancola spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Noah Parotta was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.  Anthony Ruggiero was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Nipmuc Regional has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season. As for Framingham, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nipmuc Regional will take on Blackstone-Millville at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. Nipmuc Regional's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4  runs per game  this season, so Blackstone-Millville's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Framingham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Weymouth at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Weymouth will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Framingham surely won't give up without a fight.
