Catalina suffers fourth straight loss at home

Recap: Catalina Trojans vs. Tanque Verde Hawks

The Catalina Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 77-27 loss at the hands of Tanque Verde. Catalina has not had much luck with Tanque Verde recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Philip Knott continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tanque Verde, scoring 19 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Knott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Dickens, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.

Catalina bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Tanque Verde, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Catalina will head out on the road to challenge San Miguel at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. San Miguel comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Tanque Verde, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Thatcher at 7:00 p.m.
