Wetumpka waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Eagles back in August, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Wetumpka was led to victory by Ashlynn Turner and Kimaya Lanius. Turner had 24 digs, while Lanius had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Lanius a new career-high.

Wetumpka's record now sits at 12-6. As for Alabama Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 11-17.

Wetumpka has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Elmore County on the 29th. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they will host Thorsby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
