Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oxford). They blew past the Piedmont Bulldogs 18-1 on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Yellow Jackets needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

With the victory, Oxford broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. As for Piedmont, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Oxford has already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against Southside on the 11th. Piedmont has also already played their next game (against Ohatchee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
