Olive Branch and Center Hill are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Conquistadors will venture away from home to challenge the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olive Branch is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Olive Branch is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Grenada on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Conquistadors were beaten by the Chargers 48-6. While losing is never fun, the Conquistadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Chargers are ranked 20th).

Olive Branch might have lost, but man, Jaylin Hickman was a machine: he rushed for 65 yards and one TD, and also picked up 41 receiving yards.incredibly, Hickman got all that yardage with just one huge run

Meanwhile, Center Hill managed to keep up with Lake Cormorant until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Mustangs came up short against Lake Cormorant, falling 30-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with Lake Cormorant: they've now lost three in a row.

Olive Branch's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Center Hill, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Olive Branch couldn't quite get it done against Center Hill when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 22-14. Can the Conquistadors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
