Paul VI never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 49-0 win over the Bishop O'Connell Knights. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Paul VI's defense and their four sacks. In that department, Alex Reyes was the leader with three. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven. Miles Sanderson was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Special teams played a big role in the game for Paul VI, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Adam Corkhill, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Paul VI's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Bishop O'Connell, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8.
