Geibel Catholic extended their losing streak  to four  on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-4 in the process. They came up short against  the Monessen Greyhounds, falling  15-4. Surprisingly, this marked the Gators' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
  Eahn Stevenson put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out 11 batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   three  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than ten  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
Monessen's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-13. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 On Monessen's side, they got a big performance out of  Daniel Towler, who  went 1-for-3 with four  RBI and two  runs. Those  two  runs gave  Towler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jakob Dell, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Coming up, Geibel Catholic will challenge Keystone Oaks at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Monessen has  already played their next  game (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
