Football Game Preview: Rosemead Panthers vs. Marshall Eagles

The Rosemead Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Marshall Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rosemead will be strutting in after a victory while Marshall will be coming in after a loss.

Rosemead will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Arroyo, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers walked away with a 21-13 win over the Knights on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Marshall fell victim to Gabrielino and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by Gabrielino and fell 61-0. Marshall has struggled against Gabrielino recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Rosemead's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Rosemead barely slipped by Marshall in their previous matchup back in September of 2018, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
