Basketball Game Preview: Horizon Science Academy vs. Put-in-Bay Panthers

Horizon Science Academy will square off against the Put-in-Bay Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Horizon Science Academy came up short against Harvest Temple Christian Academy and fell 55-42. While Horizon Science Academy didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Harvest Temple Christian Academy 18-10 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Put-in-Bay scored the most points they've had this season back in December of 2024, but it wasn't enough. The game between them and Monclova Christian Academy didn't end well, with Put-in-Bay falling 88-73. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Put-in-Bay's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Horizon Science Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Horizon Science Academy came up short against Put-in-Bay when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 52-41. Can Horizon Science Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
