Baseball Recap: Indian Hills Find Success

After losing to Ramsey the last time they met, Indian Hills decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Braves had just enough and edged out the Rams 5-4 on Wednesday.

Indian Hills got a great performance from Kenny DeFeo as he tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, Indian Hills' win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Hurley, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Charlie Brugna, who earned one run and two stolen bases.

Indian Hills now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Ramsey, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Indian Hills will welcome Ridgefield Park at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Scarlets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ramsey, they will face off against Lakeland Regional at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
