Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Easton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the North Dorchester Eagles 70-37. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-28 back in December of 2024.

Diamond Newbill and Remdy Wongus certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Newbill went 7 of 11 en route to 14 points and three steals, while Wongus posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Newbill is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Easton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for North Dorchester, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Easton will square off against Queen Anne's County on Tuesday. Queen Anne's County will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Easton surely won't give up without a fight. North Dorchester has already played their next contest (against North Caroline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
