Basketball Recap: Menifee County Takes a Loss

Menifee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 59-43 bruising from the West Carter Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 53-52 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Menifee County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for West Carter, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-21 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Menifee County will face off against Powell County at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for West Carter, they will take on Greenup County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Carter is facing Greenup County at the right time seeing as Greenup County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
