Rockford waltzed into their game on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grandville Bulldogs a 6-0 shutout. Considering Rockford have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rockford's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven contests. As for Grandville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-2 record this season.
