Recap: Burlingame Panthers vs. Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS
The Burlingame Panthers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 win over Hillsdale. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Burlingame also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Alain Kazarian continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Atkinson, who scored three points along with two steals.
Burlingame now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Hillsdale, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Burlingame's road trip will continue as they head out to face Sequoia at 2:30 p.m. on January 20th. Sequoia and Burlingame are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Hillsdale, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Carlmont at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Carlmont presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hillsdale in California (Carlmont is ranked 200th, while Hillsdale is ranked 468th).
