Basketball Recap: Carter-Riverside Takes a Loss

Carter-Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-20 loss at the hands of the Southwest Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-16 back in December of 2024.

Carter-Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Southwest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-10.

Carter-Riverside will be playing in front of their home fans against Western Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwest, they will venture away from home to face off against Dunbar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
