North Hills was the 69-65 winner over Butler when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North Hills Indians took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Butler Golden Tornado on Tuesday. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

North Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Butler, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

North Hills and Butler could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. North Hills will challenge Seneca Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 153 places (285 vs. 132). Similarly, Butler (ranked 146th) will meet New Castle (ranked 32nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
