After failing to score in their last contest, New Trier made sure to put some goals up on the board against Lake Forest Academy on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Caxys. New Trier might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Lake Forest Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zach Myers (2), Calyx Hoover (2), and Gordon Evans.

The win (which was New Trier's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. As for Lake Forest Academy, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7-2.

Looking ahead, New Trier will square off against Niles Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Forest Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
