Basketball Game Preview: Winnebago Indians vs. Oakland-Craig Knights

The Winnebago Indians will take on the Oakland-Craig Knights in a holiday battle at at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Saturday, Winnebago ended up a good deal behind South Sioux City and lost 74-58.

Meanwhile, Oakland-Craig put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past Howells-Dodge with a 50-46 win.

Winnebago better keep an eye on Braylon Anderson. He was instrumental in Oakland-Craig's win, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave Anderson a new career-high. Corbin Guill was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Oakland-Craig's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Winnebago, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Winnebago didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Oakland-Craig in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 56-52 win. Will Winnebago repeat their success, or does Oakland-Craig have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
