After flying high against the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals last Tuesday, the King's Academy Lions came back down to earth. King's Academy fell to Conway Christian 38-33. The match was a 15-15 toss-up at halftime, but King's Academy was outscored by Conway Christian in the second.

Wyatt Polatty was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points for Conway Christian.

King's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Conway Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

King's Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Dillon Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Dillon Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Thursday. As for Conway Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Lee Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Lee Academy is ranked 214th, while Conway Christian is ranked 205th).
