Basketball Game Preview: Bowling Green Bobcats vs. Clopton Hawks

The Bowling Green Bobcats will venture away from home to square off against the Clopton Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowling Green will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bowling Green took on Wellsville-Middletown on Friday. Bowling Green claimed a resounding 70-22 victory over Wellsville-Middletown. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Clopton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 63-52 win over Van-Far. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Bowling Green's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points over those games. As for Clopton, their win bumped their record up to 17-6.

Bowling Green came up short against Clopton in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 61-51. Can Bowling Green avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
