After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Milford, Sutton was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They snuck past the David City Scouts with a 54-48 win. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Scouts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sutton's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for David City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Sutton and David City should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings. Sutton (ranked 65th) will meet Wilber-Clatonia (ranked 257th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, David City will square off against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday up 123 places (78 vs. 201).
