Basketball Recap: Olentangy Orange Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olentangy Orange can now relate to. They received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 56-42 to the Newark Wildcats. The game was a 22-22 toss-up at halftime, but the Pioneers couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for Olentangy Orange and nudges their season record down to 8-15. As for Newark, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Olentangy Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newark, they will challenge Olentangy Liberty at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Olentangy Liberty will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Newark surely won't give up without a fight.
