Softball Recap: Clovis Wildcats vs. Belen Eagles
Clovis extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 23 on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-4. They lost 17-4 to the Belen Eagles. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 11-10 to the Eagles when the teams met back in March of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Clovis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evelyn Rico, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Rico has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Jazlynn Chavez- Marin also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clovis will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Portales at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
