Baseball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

River Valley fell victim to Yuba City and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Honkers, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Honkers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-1 loss last Wednesday.

River Valley's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Yuba City, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Valley will face off against River City at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Yuba City, they will square off against Del Campo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
