Volleyball Game Preview: Dr. Krop Lightning vs. Miami Springs Golden Hawks

The Dr. Krop Lightning will head out on the road to take on the Miami Springs Golden Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dr. Krop will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

On Monday, Dr. Krop made easy work of MAST Academy and carried off a 3-0 win.

Dr. Krop's got stronger as the match went on, holding MAST Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Miami Springs lost 3-0 to Downtown Doral on Thursday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Downtown Doral scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-17.

Dr. Krop pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Miami Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Dr. Krop was able to grind out a solid win over Miami Springs when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dr. Krop since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
