Softball Recap: Delano Comes Up Short

Delano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Wasco, falling 21-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Wasco this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Tuesday.

Delano's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Wasco, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delano will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Wasco, they will take on Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
