Softball Game Preview: North Surry Greyhounds vs. Surry Central Golden Eagles

The North Surry Greyhounds will take on the Surry Central Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Surry will be strutting in after a win while Surry Central will be coming in after a defeat.

North Surry's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Wilkes Central 20-0. The Greyhounds have beaten the Eagles the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Surry Central lost 15-1 to West Wilkes on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Surry Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaycee Dalton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The victory got North Surry back to even at 2-2. As for Surry Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
