Soccer Game Preview: Mohave vs. Bradshaw Mountain

The Mohave Thunderbirds will head out to challenge the Bradshaw Mountain Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mohave has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight losses, while Bradshaw Mountain will come in with three straight wins.

Mohave came up short against Prescott on Friday, falling 5-1. That's two games in a row now that the Thunderbirds have lost by exactly four goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bradshaw Mountain). They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Mingus on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bears with their most commanding win of the season.

Bradshaw Mountain pushed their record up to 4-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those three contests. As for Mohave, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Mohave might still be hurting after the 6-2 loss they got from Bradshaw Mountain in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Mohave was down 4-0.
