If Seven Rivers Christian was riding high fresh off their 16-6 takedown of Calvary Chapel Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 18-4 to the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats on Monday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Seven Rivers Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madalyn Luider, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Seven Rivers Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Academy at the Lakes, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seven Rivers Christian will take on Hernando Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy at the Lakes, they will head out to take on River Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
