Soccer Recap: Central Magnet Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Central Magnet couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Signal Mountain Eagles on Saturday, falling 4-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Central Magnet couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabriella Woods, who's now up to 11 this season.

Central Magnet has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-5-1 record this season. As for Signal Mountain, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4-2.

As of now, neither Central Magnet nor Signal Mountain have any future games scheduled.
