For the second straight game, Abbott will face off against Mart. Abbott will be playing at home against Mart at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Abbott is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

While Abbott's victory against Mart wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Abbott skirted past Mart 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for Abbott as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

For Mart's part, Harley Desmuke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on ten hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Mart saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Destinee Guerrero, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Marley Maas was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Abbott's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Mart, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
