There's no place like home for Hayesville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Tri-County Jaguars on Monday. Hayesville haven't had any issues with Tri-County recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Hayesville's one-goal win came courtesy of Raul Rivera-Prieto, who's now up to two this season.

Hayesville's win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Tri-County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13-1.

Looking ahead, Hayesville is taking a road trip to take on Murphy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Murphy's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Hayesville's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Tri-County, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Swain County on the 28th.
