They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 victory over the Perry County Central Commodores. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Patriots have posted since December 12, 2023.

Knott County Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Perry County Central, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knott County Central will challenge Letcher County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Perry County Central has already played their next game (against Wolfe County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
